I spend a lot of time in the keys, Marathon, Florida. There is a restaurant there that is pretty much a tourist place but I eat there at least once a week. I love the Lobster Reuben, it's my favorite sandwich of all time and they make it perfectly. If you ever go there prepared to just relax, drink some cold beer and pig out. Here is their recipe for this great sandwich.
Ingredients
¾ -1 lb lobster meat chunks, steamed and cleaned
½ cup Thousand Island salad dressing
1 can (14-16 oz) shredded kraut
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 slices deli style rye bread
butter to taste
Directions
Butter and grill the rye slices.
Mix lobster meat and salad dressing. Spread on 2 slices of grilled bread.
Top each with 2 slices of cheese and with half of the kraut.
Place under broiler to melt cheese.
Close sandwiches with remaining slices of bread.
Great with a cold beer and fries.
